Ewe and Me: Gleecap!

Never thought I'd be one of those bloggers who writes episode recaps. I thought it would throw my addiction/obsession/little shortcoming into too sharp relief. Oh but I couldn't resist! I've been waiting for the season premiere since the last time I watched the last 10 minutes of the season finale [I think it was Viewing #7 but I could be wrong].

The new season looks to be an interesting one although I have to say this first episode did not blow me away as much as it simply reinforced the ideas of the previous season; Rachel's pretension, Sue's attitude and multiple opportunities for the fanfiction writers of the world to go to town with subtle homoerotic hints. Still, there is the new stuff. Santana got a boob job [?!], Brittany confesses to wanting to touch the football coach's boobs and Sue makes it perfectly clear to everyone what she thinks of her head cheerleader's 'juicy, vine-ripened chest fruit'. Come to think of it, there was a lot of boobs in this episode.

Sue's got a new playmate! She spends the entire episode trying to force Coach Beiste [it's French, apparently] to relive her childhood torment. All I'm saying is that there are poop cookies involved.

She manages to rope in mild-mannered Will. Amazing what budget cuts will do to people.

Finn meets the new guy...

... and seems to like what he sees. And hears but I'm pretty sure that look has nothing to do with octaves and plenty to do with how well New Kid can pitch, if you know what I mean.

Still, Coach Sue claims they're distracting and that she is in fact talking to them rather than their owner.

Quinn and Santana have a hallway smackdown. Quinn makes sure to tell the entire crowd about Santana's latest additions and Santana in turn calls her a slut. Fair's fair I suppose.

In the meantime, New Kid Sam is busy making all the boys drool...

... during a jamming session. Kurt put it succinctly when he said 'The Beiber cut's gotta go'.

Mike shows his distaste when they find out that Rachel sent potential new recruit Sunshine to a crack house.

'It wasn't an active crack house'

Figgins asks Brittany to show him, on the doll, where Coach Beiste touched her. I'm amazed at just how lifelike that doll is and what on earth required the administration to have one handy.
